What types of books we buy & sell

We buy, trade and sell a wide range of classic and contemporary fiction, poetry, art and photography, science fiction and mystery, antiquarian and collectibles, and all genres of non-fiction. We also have the largest local second hand collection of childrens' books from board to YA. We also stock new and second hand New Orleans and Louisiana fiction and history. We do not buy or sell textbooks. Blue Cypress Books is committed to serving you with the highest quality second hand books.



CALENDER OF EVENTS

Blue Cypress Books Club meets - Meets on the last Tuesday of the month. June 26th, 5:30 p.m. Discussing David Mitchell's "The Thousand Autumns of Jacob De Zoet.

International Book Club - Meets at Blue Cypress Books on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6 o'clock. July 20, Purge - Sofi Oksanen; August 17, After the Fire, a Still Small Voice - Evie Wyld; September 21, A Town Like Alice - Nevil Shute; October 19, By Night in Chile Roberto BolaƱo; November 16, The Restraint of Beasts - Magnus Mills. No meeting in December. New members are always welcome.
